Description
Wanting is about a single mother on welfare, struggling to survive with an unwanted child, who seeks escape in sex with her best friends, a married couple. When she discovers she craves more, she battles to win love at all costs. The play addresses the issue of building community in a world that has little room for the dispossessed. In this society where anything goes and sex is used as a means of escape and connection, the characters challenge each other’s boundaries.
