Scum: A Manifesto by S.E. Grummett & Caitlin Zacharias

Description

In 1967, Valerie Solanas wrote the radically feminist, "S.C.U.M. Manifesto: Society for Cutting Up Men." The manifesto suggested that in order for women to be truly liberated, they must overthrow the government and exterminate the male sex. SCUM: a manifesto is a look inside the mind of the woman who shot Andy Warhol and the mother of radical feminism, while examining the feminist movement today. No one is safe in the dark satire that is SCUM.

The production was nominated for 6 Saskatoon Area Theatre Awards including Outstanding Production, Outstanding Lead Performance, Sound Design, Projection Design, Set Design and Lighting Design.
